In the afternoon I travelled back to Niagara, but left the Falls on my right and drove to Nigara Falls on The Lake. This is one of the many well preserved small towns. Many 1900 houses are still very nice and although there were only people older than me it was ver nice to visit.
Tomorrow off to Ottawa .. I think, but depending the weather could be something else. Visiting another city is not the best with these temperatures.
Niagara falls and Fort Erie
This part of Canada is not the one with the best scenery, but getting at Niagara Falls is taken your breath away. I was early, it was not busy yet and due to the humidity there was a lot of fog. I have to say it was overwhelming, although I expected it to be even bigger.
From Niagara by scenic route to Fort Erie. In the beginning of 1800 it was occupied several times by the British and the Americans, and although the fort itself it rather small, there was an army of several thousand troups. A lot of them were killed and it’s the place where the most Canadians died in war. Made some nice shots of Musket firing.
